Susan Stoner is a self-taught photographer and digital artist living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her work has been on display in local venues, and can be seen in private collections, including several homes and businesses throughout the country. For the last three years, she was a participating artist in ArtPrize, an international art contest with nearly 2,000 selected artists held in Grand Rapids. For ArtPrize 2011, Susan's work was shown at the Fifth Third Bank/Warner Norcross & Judd venue. Her passion for photography is equally matched by her passion for creating stunning photo-realistic digital paintings that stir the senses, touch emotions and inspire. She uses unique styles of framing that are clean, crisp and uncluttered, and easily fit into almost any decorative scheme. Susan completed her sixth and seventh series of limited-edition cards designed from some of her favorite photos and digital paintings from Mackinac Island and her ArtPrize 2010 entry, “Poppies,” which is a series of photos taken near Lake Louise at Banff National Park in Canada.
